Having Parts Chromed?

I have an 03 Banshee.

I would like to find out about having some stock parts chromed.

Wanting to do my foot pegs, kick starter, brake & shifter levers.

Can someone give me places that do this and possibly what prices are?

I have no idea if buying them already done would be better way to go or not.

has them already in stock + more.getting them done depends on the platers turn around time. your better off just buying them from east coast.

East Coast is 6 weeks out on chroming parts & didn't have the parts available already done. Was worth a shot.

I forget the price...but there is a place near me(Los Angeles) that does the pegs, shifter, kicker for one price. Try asking them for a quote: search "RIS designs home"

I remember reading on here that the only way to chrome something is with the chrome spray paint. You should try it apparently it really works

Chrome spray paitn doesnt hold up nearly as well, not even close...YOu can get alot fo small objects chromed.. for example: I got my kick starter chromed for 10 bucks...Look in the phone book for chrome company's theres ton around here, dont know about where you live.. goodluck!

um $10 for the kicker. damn kick down with the company name if ya got it. I went to one place and they wanted $35 for each foot peg, $55 for each A-Arm(4 of them), $240 for the swingarm and he said he wouldnt do the frame because it will rust to fast. Did I just get a bad chrome shop or are prices really that crazy. I mean shit, I can by a whole chrome truck bumper for $90 but cant even get my A-arms done for that much.

i just payed 160 0r 180 for the pegs kicker shifter and brake and grab bar and the peg bolts shifter bolt and thats it i think.. in ca la area.. good work and a week turn around..

i tried some other shops that where more and a longer turn around..

cannon, talk to jack. you know him, he knows everybody. I'll be over there today, the banshee is all apart getting some go fast and look good doing it stuff. Frame is about to be blasted and then coated. I'll probably cut all the brackets off that i don't need today over at rich stators new shop by caseys.

I just got some chrome foot pegs off of ebay for 40 bucks. Let me know when you plan on getting your stuff done. If its cheaper to send it in bulk, i'll send some stuff with yours to get done.

also, keep a look out around town. i am looking for some cylinders to swap myne with. I have a drag port, i want some unported cylinders. Myne have wiseco pro-lites .20 over and a full drag port. I would like some on the stock bore, but its not necessary.
