dlnoss Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 I've never weighed them. They are solid 7075 3/4" aluminum. Not real heavy but real strong. Quote

Oilsmoke Posted October 26, 2004 Author Report Posted October 26, 2004 Could you weigh them ? if there lighter than stock you may have a repete customer. Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 i doubt that 3/4 inch is gonna be lighter than the flimsy stock ones but who knows. those stock ones are nice pieces of shit. ive bent everyone ive ever had. Quote
dlnoss Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 It looks like they are about .55 pound each. Probably not lighter than stock. Around 5 times as strong. 7075 aluminum has a higher tensile strength than regular carbon steel, a little less than chrome-moly. So stronger than a solid steel 3/4" tie rod at 1/3 the weight. -David Quote
