Was looking at a banshee but it has alot of rust, not sure if its just surface rust or what but its fairly cheap, should I bother or not? It is going to be a project shee if that matters so I am tearing it down if I buy it.

if its jsut light surface rust it will be just fine

for light surface rust on my car i used cans of a rust removal type stuff

cant think of the name of it any automotive paint store prob has it tho

maybe i will be nice and look at the can later on to give you a name for it basically you scuff up the surface rust and remove what you can

then this stuff is sprayed on over the rust pitting that is still there

it turns a dark purple color and then you can sand it off a little bit and spray some primer over it

it neutralises the rust and seals it so it wont continue

and this way you get the fun of strippin her down and painting it whatever color you want it to be
