I am running 390 mains right now..and the reccomendation says to go UP 3-4 sizes. Should i move the needle up a notch or what? Not real sure where to put it. Anway, i have a ton of porting, expect a FULL ride report by the end of next week. And a dune report after the HQ invasion in october. Quote

I jumped up to 390's from 360's on my shee after i added the pipes. I put new plugs in..the plugs look like cardboard. Which from my understanding is pretty close to dead on. My question... When i lay into it..assuming i am in the right gear..it starts to pull hard..then it has a slight sputter like it wants to keep pulling, but its just not happening. It pulls hard to a point, but most of the way up to it, it has a slight sputter. however, it feels like there is more left in the pipe like it wants to keep pulling. I am happy with the way the pipes feel..but i know its not quite right and it has much more in it. Air intake is definitely my next mod...rev it up with the seat off and the filter sucks in hard..anybody got any spare air I can ram in there lol Do i need to jump up to a 410 (do they make a 400?)..scew with the air/fuel screw, move the needle up or down? where do i go from here.
