im looking for a set of plastics the same as locogato has, im bored of the black and yellow now and want to change to silver and black. could some1 please let me no where i could get a new set, preferably a company that would ship to scotland! could you please set me up with a site so i can have alook myself?

another think is what is the best pipe for motox racing, new season starts in a week and if im getting new plastics i would like a decent set of pipes to go with it!

 

any help is apretiated!

Don't you run a pt mid pipe? If so, I think that would be good for what you're wanting to get into, or maybe a 2 into 1 pipe. I hear DMC makes a pretty nice pipe suitable for motox...

Look into the LRD's. I dont have many people to stand behind me on here, but I've rode a bunch of different pipes, and overall the LRD's just seem to prevail every time.

 

I find myself clutching with other pipes, and the powerband hit is really short. The LRD's have tons of power when you're not in the powerband, and a really smooth delivery into powerband so it allows you to ride in that sweet spot all the time.

 

And say the track doesnt fit to the pipe where you want to be able to ride in that sweetspot (really tight track/more of an open track), you can adjust the pipes which adjusts where the powerband starts to come on. So from track to track you can adjust the pipe so you can always ride in that sweet spot. Instead of changing your gearing and all that fun stuff.

 

The low end pull is much like a 4stroke, I never have to clutch it, just need to be in the right gear, and the top end pull is dead even with the t5's

 

Shipping on plastic is gonna be expensive to scotland, you do realize that right? The plastics are made by maier. (I doubt they have a distribution in europe) You might want to stick with an oem plastic, and come up with a good color scheme, and then get a nice graphics kit.

i may be able to get the plastics through atv world or kypeside, they are companies i deal with over here that import stuff just for quads. i knew the shipping would be big but going on what you guys have said i sounds like its going to cost a lot more!

i was gonna get black fullbores and have my frame powder coated silver.. buti just decided that ima go with black frame, black plastic. i think silver and black look good together.

im happy then, i am going to get the plastics when im throo with the first few races then it will go from there, i love locos shee and im trying not to copy it although it may not seem like it......im going to have alot less red on it, maybe just the hubs red and everything else silver and black. the frame is staying black.
