harley_sr Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 What does it do? Also what is it good for? Quote
XTShee Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 Basically its another plate that bolts onto the pressure plate. It has little L shaped fingers with counter weights that try to move outward as the clutch basket spins faster, and uses centripital force to press the pressure plate against the friction plates. You have to have a cover conversion because there simply isn't enough clearance. Pretty much stops your clutch slipping when you have high HP Quote
