hemimike Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 Just wondering if anyone had any comments on GBC Sand-Shark rears on a banshee. They look to be a fairly cheap tire. Quote
decon Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 if they can dig, then they are good. i wouldnt mind buying some myself. I say go with the GBC's man, they got a reasonable price. besides, sand tires dont bald out, so they will last you a lifetime. Quote
ledofthezep Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 I've went to running these... Can't beat'm for $160 ready to bolt on. Here's their site: http://www.kingstire.com/KT-177.htm Bought mine from http://www.jimssandtoys.com Quote
racer Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 Just wondering if anyone had any comments on GBC Sand-Shark rears on a banshee. They look to be a fairly cheap tire. i hear they dont hook for shit. if youve got a pretty modded banshee get some haulers, or what led's got. if its pretty much stock get some sandstars. and yes paddles do wear out. ive seen more than one pair of sand skate 2's with the paddles flying off in chunks. ledofthezep Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 check out the Sand Geckos, I wouldn't have a set up my ass! Too heavy, too tall for my liking, and don't suit my style. Just MHO. Quote
decon Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 would tires would u suggest, those kt-117's? Quote
sandgrencivic2k1 Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 I am going to try out my new haulers this weekend, do you guys think they will hook up good, and not rob power at the top? They are: 20x10x10 9 paddle haulers. I have toomey t6 pipes, uni filter, vents, 280 main, stock needle and pilot, and coolhead with 22cc domes. What's your guy's opinions? Quote
kenr74 Posted August 4, 2004 Report Posted August 4, 2004 Sand Sharks don't hook up at all. The Geckos are too damn heavy and just want to dig but not go anywhere. You can't go wrong with Haulers. I just got some of the King's Turbo with a bike I bought but haven't had a chance to run them. They are basically a molded Hauler. A little heavier but I bet the paddles don't flex as much. Quote
