Minkia38 Posted July 18, 2004 Report Posted July 18, 2004 EBAY: In 1996, Cedar Point was ready to promote the newest ride-a stand up coaster named Banshee. Buttons were printed to give to the public-but wait. Before the buttons could be used, the CEO decided that he didn't like the name, so the ride was renamed Mantis. The Banshee items are very rare indeed. I much prefer Banshee and the logo, but we're stuck with Mantis and the logo went on to be used at Dorney Park for the Steel Phantom (or a logo that was very similar). This button is 3" x 2" and is in pristine condition. The one item needed to complete a Cedar Point collection. I apologize that the picture is a bit fuzzy. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3921870181&rd=1 Quote
