1998_Banshee_Racer Posted July 5, 2004 Report Posted July 5, 2004 Ok lets see if you guys\girls can help me.Im ready to put my shee together but need some questions answered.1st Will I need to time my banshee in any way.2nd How do I properly install rings on wiseco pro -lites.3rd Any idea on the ft-lb torque I need to put on the flywheel? zilladude Posted July 6, 2004 Report Posted July 6, 2004 If you have a stock stator plate there are no adjustments. You just have to tighten the bolts. The torque on the flywheel ins 59 ft/pds. Wieseco rings can be installed any way on the SHEE's I usually install them with the size # facing upward. Quote

The only marks to be aligned are on the clutch basket when installing the frictions disks and plates. #2 The rings can be carefully spread and installed by hand. Make sure the end gaps are positioned properly at the locators in the ring groove before compressing and installing the cylinders. #3 The torque spec on the flywheel is 59ft/lbs Oh yeah...what he said...
