forged or cast pistons

i want vitos power pistons but do know what to get forged or cast the money aint a issue but what are the pros and cons to both

forged are heavier/stronger cause the forging process makes the metals more dense. but cast are lighter and weaker. im not sure which ones last longer if service life is a factor. i personally beat the shit out of my motor and wouldnt run anything but forged. just my opinion

there are no pros and cons.

 

simply put, forged is better because it is stronger than cast.

 

cast isn't necessarily bad, but when your running 180lbs in each cylinder and your pushing close to or over 100hp, you'd be much better off with forged.
