94BansheeRider Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 What was done to your bike prior to your problem? Almost sounds like the shift drum is intalled incorrectly or a cracked gear. Just a thought Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted April 9, 2004 Author Report Posted April 9, 2004 tons of shit, but i just rebuilt it this winter with a clymers manual and a mechanic at my side, it was all done rgiht, no cracked gears or anything, but i think i solved my prob today, gotta throw it back togheter and see what i got Quote
bbluebanshee Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 check to see if you'r shift shaft is bent. i had a similar problem and checked mine. i put it on a straight-edge and of course it was bent. as soon as i put a new one in, it shifted perfectly!! Quote
