LIsurfer_ Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 Hello again all. I took the shee out for a good pounding on the track today. About an hour into it i noticed that it would idle fast when i stopped. I took it back to the truck to look it over and when I got there I noticed it was running kind of hot. When I splashed a little water onto the radiator it sizzled. So now I have 2 questions #1 what can be the cause of the fast idle? #2 how hot is too hot? should I be concerned? Here is the kicker.....when I went back out on the track my newly installed 2 into 1 Toomey lost its filter and it went into a fu%@*ng puddle.......had about a minute of hard riding without filtration.....not the best day I have ever had.......
