banshee_kid350 Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 I took off my head on my banshee last night to put on a cool head and looking at the cylinders there is a little groove just enough to feel with my finger on the left cylinder. I looked down toward the piston and it looks like it's from the gap on the piston ring has worn a little groove in the cylinder. Should I pull the pistons out and bore the cylinder and put new rings and pistons in? or should I not even worry about it. or maybe just hone the cylinders? it has not been to long since the top end got redone maybe a couple of years. Big Blue Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 will your fingernail catch on it, you should probably redo your topend. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 yea if you can feel the groove i think its time for a top end, but its just more power! Quote
