I just recently purchased my 2004 banshee and I am looking for a set of pipes for my style of riding. I don't plan on any major motor work but I plan on simple mods such as: pipes, air filter, jets, etc..I do mostly trail riding and some field and wide open riding. I want some pipes that will really wake this shee up. A pipe that will pull good on bottom end and still have a top end pull would be excellent. FMF Fattys, T5's, Pro-Circuits, etc. can anyone help? Thanks in advance for any replys

you just named alot of the good pipes for what you would be doing, i never ran any of them but i hear t5's really wake up a stock engine, and the fmf's are really good for trails

T-5 r more of a top end pipe...

FMF is a bottom to top pipe!

not to be bias from my sig..

I have had both and I like FMF better..

And sister of toomey, is pro circut so other top end..

That is just my opinion...

Maybe some other people who have rode several different pipes will

also put there 2cents in!

I have not tried cpi's yet have heard all good things from that pipe!

Hope this helps out

What would you classify the banshee as, more a top end bike or a bottom end bike..I have only had my shee for a couple weeks and havent really had the time to really check it out? Pro-Circuits are closely comapered to the Toomey T5's ?

Toomeys are definitely for the top end.. the low and mids aren't anything special but boy when you're in the wide open fields you'll love the Toomeys! If you ride more trails and stuff though, you'll probably like those FMF Fattys a bit better.

FMF STS and PTR Mids are probably the best all around pipes for keeping bottom end and adding top as well. I love my Gnarlies for trails, hill climbs, cruising around, pretty much any riding conditions they doo good in, but I wish I had some high revs when I'm in the sand and want to go fast or to be able to pull 5th and 6th gear real stong. If you want a set of Gnarlies PM me, I'm looking into getting some more high reving for the sand. The Gnarlies still look mint.

I'd say go for the T-5's and slap a NOSS head on there, raise the compression, get you a K&N filter w/outerwear, maybe change the gearing on it and you can achieve an all-around fast banshee. That is what I would begin with, see how you like it, and continue modding from there...You'll notice a HUGE difference with just those. Hope that helps!!!

Thanx for all the replys.. I have gave it alot of thought and have made my final decision to get a mid/top end pipe :shootself: so would you'all buy the T5's or The Pro Circuits? I hate asking alot of questions about stuff like this but i really need some pipes b/c my shee is just begging for air and where better to get tips that the official banshee hq boards

That's a tough one...I myself run T-5's and LOVE EM...with the right gear they are everything I had hoped them to be! BUT, I know a lot of people like the pro circuits and for a good reason...I was in the same boat you're in now, I had my option of either one, I took the T-5's...Just make sure whatever pipe you do choose you jet it properly or else.... :shootself:banghead
