midnighttoker Posted March 21, 2004 Author Report Posted March 21, 2004 just normal 10w-30 engine oil or does it have to motorcycle oil? and what about the trany oil, what do you guys recomend? Quote
DIRTBIKEZ Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 The 10w30 he suggested was for the transmission. You need to mix a 2-stroke oil at a precise ratio 32:1, 40:1 or 50:1 with the fuel for "engine" lubrication. Quote

All will say what ever they use.. the bible says 10w30 viscosity... any way 1.6 qts. after oil change! After rebuild 1.8 qts. Quote

I like motorcycle oil designed for wet clutch transmissions. They offer things that typical 10w30 doesn't, as far as additives to help your clutch perform better. Quote
