Where I ride a lot of times there are a lot of ruts and I cant seem to stay out of them. The only thing that i could think of was to get a taller tire. Would this help at all and if so what size? What would I need to change my gears to? I am running stock gears now. Quote
KRMit Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 Bigger tires will give you more clearance, but not much. Keep in mind that each 2" you go up in tire size will only give you 1" more clearance. As for the gearing, you'll probably just have to ride it after you get the new tires and see if you can pull them. If you think you need to change then go 1 gear lower on the front or a couple higher in the rear. Quote

Theron Posted March 17, 2004 Author Report Posted March 17, 2004 Right now I have stock tires on it and if i was going to go to a bigger tire I was going to get maxxis razors 2 at the new size. If i dont go to a different tire i will still go with these tires. Quote
