04Banshee Posted March 16, 2004 Author Report Posted March 16, 2004 I started to use castor 927 but I was riding my banshee everyday pretty much all day for about a month on my lake behind my house a couple of weeks ago and the castor was just to expensive to buy everyday. I have been using the 2S (I still am) without fouling any plugs of anything at all. I recently saw the yamalube 2R in the store where I usually buy the 2S. Thats why I asked. Quote
Toomey Banshee Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Yeah the yamalube works great. I have used it in my 99 since she was new and still on the stock top end. The 2S is for the oil injection unit on the Blaster, so I would steer clear. I'm not sure if it would hurt anything but just use the 2R. Quote
BansheeBrian Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 2R works well. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to mix it 50:1 or 100:1 though. I keep it 32:1 and thats probably the only advice i follow from yamaha corp. It keeps the crank happy. Quote
