DirtGrrl Posted March 14, 2004 Author Report Posted March 14, 2004 thats the pic i got when i got the lowering kit lol we know where it goes..just wondered if there are any tricks before i tackle this. i guess maybe its as cut and dry as it looks?? thank you so much for the pic!! u guys are always good to help someone. that rocks Quote
00BANSHEE Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 It just takes place of the 3" connecting rod. You will have to use the bushings out of the stock connecting rod but you won't be able to use the little covers or caps. You will see what I am talking about when you get it tore apart. It is a simple installation. Quote
DirtGrrl Posted March 14, 2004 Author Report Posted March 14, 2004 thats what i wanted to hear thank you!!!! MUCH appreciated!!!!! thanks- tonie Quote
stealthawd Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 Grease it before you put the bike together, it can be kinda tight to fit the grease gun in there after it's all assembled... Also, keep in mind that each hole is one inch apart but equals twice that in drop. in other words, each hole is another two inches in drop...you could slam your 'shee to the ground if you chose to do so with these... SICK BOY Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 I just got one too. It's a easy install. Quote
