cheezehead Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 I'm wondering if anyone here has one of these I would like to find out how large of a tub it is B in diagram and the length of A Thanks Quote
Holyman Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 The tubing is no bigger than the intake appr 1.5" You can make it easy on yourself and make it so it fits into the stock boots. Less fabbing and a better chance of no air leaks at the jugs. If you do the flanges, they have to be perfetly parallel with the jugs and unless you plan to have them milled flat, you're really just guessing. Hate to do all the fab work and then burn up the engine because of an air leak. Quote
cheezehead Posted February 28, 2004 Author Report Posted February 28, 2004 I was just figuring using one long flat plate punch the holes and buzz er all up Quote
Holyman Posted February 29, 2004 Report Posted February 29, 2004 Just gotta make sure there's room for the rear head hose. Not a bad way to go and you could cut it later if you want or need to. Quote
cheezehead Posted March 23, 2004 Author Report Posted March 23, 2004 Well I started my 2 in 1 project but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the length is from the bolting plate to middle of the Y? Thanks Quote
cheezehead Posted March 24, 2004 Author Report Posted March 24, 2004 Well it's almost done realized I had the wrong angle on the carb side so I have to redo that end. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 aint lookin to bad, u should go in the buisness, more and more people are lookin for a cheap one these days... Quote
KRMit Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 If it wasn't for losing the airbox I'd be begging you to make me one. Way to go! Quote
FoxBansheeRacing Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 If it wasn't for losing the airbox I'd be begging you to make me one. Way to go! All you need is the adapter plate and the rubber boot to use the airbox. You could probably use any type of big rubber hose to connect the airbox to the carb, or you could order it new from trinity. EDIT: Just remembered I have the metal airbox adaptor plate, and I run a clamp on, so if you want it pay me for shipping and you can have it. Quote
ledofthezep Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Look'n good man! You could have yourself your own business B4 long pending the results of your creation... Keep us posted, I'm digg'n this chit. Quote

But doesn't the increased length of that manifold make it impossible to fit the airbox in? Oops, I read your sig and thought that you were wanting the trinity intake. If you really want to run the airbox the trinity intake is your only option. I switched from Graydon 2 into 1, went back to duals, and now I am back to the 2 into 1 again, only with a trinity intake this time. Its hard to tell which is better if at all because I also switched pipes at the same time. Even though I cant tell how it performs compared to the graydon, I still prefer the trinity because it looks much better. Quote
