you should be able too, just loosein the top and bottom case bolts and pry your case up a tiny bit and pull the old seal out and put a new one in, I don'y know about the shift shaft seal though.

Yes you can, actually if you flip it up on the right side you can change both seals without even draining the tranny fluid. Obviously you'll hafta remove the stator cover (and the left footpeg & shift lever to get it off), and the countershaft sprocket, but after that you should be able to pry them out carefully (try not to gouge the case where the seal sits) and tap in new ones. I don't think you need to separate the cases at all, and if you did I would pull the whole motor to clean off the old Yamabond and go back with new...

the front sprocked seal will require case splitting...I belive the seal sits in a groove and if it's not right it will leak and blow out.
