Jstrong Posted August 8, 2025 Report Posted August 8, 2025 Hey guys, I’ve been looking into getting a steering stem stabilizer. Just wondering if any of you guys running these. I’ve just finished building my XC Banshee(421 serval) long travel elka stage five. Fox rear., etc. I am planning on getting a GPR V5 (580$)stabilizer. Is it a noticeable improvement on handling or could I do without it? Quote
kawa110 Posted August 9, 2025 Report Posted August 9, 2025 Worth it. The stick style stabilizers make a small difference but noticeable. The puck style are better. GPR used to offer a bar mounted puckScott’s used to as well…I’m looking for bar mounted parts from Scott’s. I have most the parts, need bar clamp. GPR or FAST had a pick style that mounts lower on frame toward lower part of stem. Worth it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
