banshee370 Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 Flat slides will give better performance from mid to top while round slides are better for low/mid. All due to air velocity through the carbs. Im sure someone else can explain this better than I did. Quote

Oilsmoke Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 Flatslide Flow a higher signal presure at lower airspeed than RS, which help in the lower rpm range. RS do there best work at WOT. I run 34 RS and somday I get some FS . My shee got a pretty good bog down low,I feel my carbs are little to big down low, But run great at wot. Quote
