Doom400 Posted October 7, 2021 Report Share Posted October 7, 2021 Was really hot 100 degrees …was racing a bunch of buddies on bikes …1 hour long rush …lost my rear brakes down the hill total loss ….fluid boiled over …after bike cooled brakes work great ….is this normal in extreme conditions :::wife usually rides this banshee…doesn’t push it like me …but don’t won’t her to loss brakes…there still a few more rides on the pads but low Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ATV_hub Posted December 1, 2021 Report Share Posted December 1, 2021 Change the fluid, Brake fluid absorbs moisture overtime and this will lower the boiling point, usually results in brake fade, boiling over is definitely an extreme case.
