kawa110 Posted August 1, 2017 Report Posted August 1, 2017 Had a old school welder do a pipe same way. Brazed it I guess, then plated it. 1978 yz250 pipe. Really thin metal Quote
ClaudeMachining Posted August 1, 2017 Author Report Posted August 1, 2017 They had a good old welder there, but he was in out of town, a young dude did it...Envoyé de mon SM-G935W8 en utilisant Tapatalk Quote
Canada Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 That ground strap looks like one your free rang goats eat a can of brush on electrical tape and took a dump on your engine. But more important, who installed that highly enginered shop floor? must a been some of your new border jumping enginering students Quote
ClaudeMachining Posted August 4, 2017 Author Report Posted August 4, 2017 I bought this 40's farm 5 years ago, maybe it's time to put some money on the garages ;-)Envoyé de mon SM-G935W8 en utilisant Tapatalk Quote
ClaudeMachining Posted August 4, 2017 Author Report Posted August 4, 2017 Ok, this is my final jetting with by pwn 35mm: 145/42, clip second from top,+5°. Run goods, egt goods on a long hard pull. With the new porting (125/195) the engine have more top, less bottom as espected. I can really feel the increase in power. I also have to play with the clutch more. Last year, lp and +9 was giving me some bottom ;-) Pretty satisfied with the setup, here, i use the shee like a rallye machine , so it fit perfectly. Next built will be 5xx power valves. sleeper06 Posted August 6, 2017 Report Posted August 6, 2017 That engine is pulling fuel very efficiently and a strong signal, judging by the final jetting. Just my opinion but you may benefit across the board from bigger carbs . What needle are you running Quote

sleeper06 Posted August 6, 2017 Report Posted August 6, 2017 For shits and giggles I would try a d series needle if you get bored. You might pick up some bottom grunt under load . Quote
