Anyone running a 14-42

So i currently run a 15 41 gearing ratio on my trail bike....i like simply cuz i can ride 3-4 on and off the pipe quick in my tight trails but it can be unpredictable in some scenarios. i have to almost launch to clime some of these hills.

 

I feel a 14-42 might suit me but just seeing if anyone runs this ratio and likes it? Im looking for maybe a more predictable hit.... And how many links is your chain

i am running 14-42 on my banshee. i like it alot but i only ride on the sand, or racing up sand mountain (edited, just went and counted)

Can you pull it up pretty easy.... i guess kinda thats what im looking for too its so hard to pull the long gear up

I've messed with gearing multiple times to only come back to stock gearing for the trails.

not a stocker but I run 15/41 with 20" rears and 22" fronts on my 4mm serval and im lovin. I mostly ride trails also.

same. Stock gearing was always my favorite all around gear from stock motor to 10cub.

Im 20" also but on stock cylinders and no port work....i like it for the longevity of 3rd gear put i need to pull it some time to get over the cricks and i just dont have it
