bendog Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 .....So I picked up a blown 'shee. Was my girls brothers. he ran it without an idle speed screw, seized the right side rod bearing. I'm in the process of tearing it down now. problem is, the clutch basket wont come off. I've got the nut and lock washer off, and its stuck. Am I missing something, shouldn't it just slide right off? The clutch cushions are shot too, so It'll likely need a new basket and cushions as well. I'm under the impression it's worth it to replace both at the same time? Side note; I'm considering a Twister stock welded crank for it, possibly an additional Twister crank for my '04. The '04 is just getting routine maintenance. I had the '04 factory crank welded by a shop in Albany back in '05-06. I've always felt a faint wobble. I assume a welded stock crank is unrebuildable? Anyone had experience with Twister? Quote
ban565 Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 I've been dealing with Louie since 2001. I've only purchased billet cranks though. Quote
