Hey everybody im new to the banshee world and I have a couple of quick questions. I have an 01 banshee witht he athena 392 big bore fmf exhaust and tor eliminator. When I give it a little throttle it wants to bog down? What kind of problem could this be? Is it the stock carbs, jetting, tuning, or does it need a stroker kit to go with the big bore kit? The guy said it was jetter for indiania which is 320 and my elevation is 220.In need of help thanks everybody

jetting/tuning is pretty much same thing. Might just want to clean carbs and be done with it. jlsparky has a good carb vidio on Utube. Do one carb at a time as parts are different but fit in wrong carb.

I prefer to soak in Berrymans carb dip, don't soak any plastic or rubber. Make sure you can blow air through any hole/passage and can see through main, pilot jet and holes on side of emusion tube are clear.

i dont have much experience with one of these BUT  the one i got dialed in was a bitch to get any sort of low end response out of it.   the fmf pipes i think may be affecting it some. but the one i worked with i was sure the insane high exhaust port and bad transfer timing had a lot to do with the boggy feel..

play with slow jet sizes a LOT and see which one it seems to like the best.

I have ported one and tuned , it ran fine with trinity stage 4 pipes 33 pwks on 100 octane race fuel . I have not tuned it in stock platform . On all honesty the cylinder is not that bad , not as good as cp cylindr but not terrible with a lol work

Irratic idle is either air leak or pilot too small, 33/35 mil pwk is what I would run 33s more trail orientated , the Athens set up I built was a 4 mil with 35s and shearers , it ran damn good with a lil port/flo work
