sprinklerman Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 If you're running a lockup ,just put OEM springs in it. Quote
registered user Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 i guess it wouldnt matter much what springs are in there. lockup will clamp the plates shut anyways. whats different about the fzr1000 plates and the banshee plates ? is the cork pad wider or something. Quote
sprinklerman Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 Unless you're over 110-15hp and have massive amounts of grip , OEM are more than sufficient with a good lockup . I prefer a non-dimpled plate. Most FZR plates I've seen are that way. Plus they don't have the locating nipple,so they don't need to be staggered. As far as frictions go, there are a wide variety that will work, but only a couple I like because they are easier on the basket. Quote
