Joejr915 Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Is a supercub gasket the same as a cub gasket beside the bore size? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 You can definitely find them specifically for the Super stuff but they can be hard to track down. A 472 I assembled for a guy, I just used An AFM style cub gasket from Cometic and just trimmed it to fit. Helps to have a way to cinch the gasket in place. I tossed it on the upper case half, flipped it and marked it. Then tossed it on some junk cases that still had the dowels in them and cut it on there. Takes several passes on an exacto knife to do perfect. I know a lot of guys just use a burr on a die grinder as well. Quote
