Want to keep the Athena head for stock appearance and cost reasons. I already talked to the gent at Noss, but he did not know if his inserts would drop into an Athena head. Quote

Abe Posted September 17, 2014 Report Posted September 17, 2014 Pretty sure they will not work, I tried to install some different domes in a Athena shell once and they wouldn't seat all the way down. I think they were cool head domes but a chance they could have been from a modquad head that was laying around. Best I remember it was the top most step before the the spark plug that was holding it up Quote
Ollies930 Posted September 17, 2014 Author Report Posted September 17, 2014 Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of the domes, but it sounds like I will have to send my domes to Noss so he can copy the outside dimensions in order for me to get the combustion chamber shape the way I would like it.
