So that 2006 frame I picked up is ugly stock silver and there's some rust on the back end. Not to bad but could use some TLC. I'm either gonna paint or PC this thing black or whatever else, havnt decided yet. Never done this before so what do I have to do ? What materials do I need ?

Thanks in advance

Only thing I will suggest is if you have a stash of extra bolts laying around (and they dont have to be for the banshee just any bolts in general with correct thread pitch) is to put a bolt anywhere one is going to have to go back into...dont bottom them out cause powder wont get in there but enuf that all your threads are covered...if you dont grab a 12 pack of beer and a nice tap and die set and have at it...you will still prolly have to clean wholes a little bit but better than having to re tap every fucking thread...

I personally would not put bolts in the holes before PC. Powder has a tendency to build up around the base of the bolt leaving a fucked finish edge. Id just take the frame, let a shop PC the whole thing and then re tap the bolt holes. Its not like it takes long any ways. Maybe at best 5mins longer then plugging ever bolt hole then removing after pc.

My powdercoater put little ear plugs in when he coated it and removed them before he baked it. Worked awesome. No buildup of powder around the plugs and nothing in the threads.

Don't forget to clean the frame up from unused tabs and brackets! No since of going through all that and doing it! Looks way better cleaned up! That is if you run drag cut fenders

Strip the vin# with paint stripper first and tell the powder coater not to blast the shit out of the vin#. Some vins are stamped deeper than others. If you're one of the unlucky ones to have a vin that's not stamped very deep, consider having them tape off the vin before they PC. Then spray it with a thin layer of spray paint.
