TORQUEDFORD Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 Has anyone had any problems with their Shearer inframe silencers. I have a set of these pipes/silencers that I bought new 2 years ago and the left silencer is falling apart at the tip. Rivets loose end cap loose etc. Has not been wrecked or hit, just ridden sand only. Quote
hp2000 Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 I repack mine after every season of glamis ridding and never had a problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 I bought a used Banshee for my sons that was hard on left side Toomey pipes and hangers, it ended up being a bent flywheel. Quote

hoppedupandcutdown Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 say what? vibration, wore the left crank bearing and the left cylinder 3 times more than the right, too. Right up until it broke in two. Quote
bansheefromhell Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 So.... The vibration from the silencer wore the crank bearing out? Quote
hoppedupandcutdown Posted February 22, 2014 Report Posted February 22, 2014 no, I figure the bent/out of balance flywheel caused all kinds of problems. Quote
