i had my stock cages ported, but i would not cut out the middle. It is a needed brace to extend reed life.

I agree i cut up mine and left the middle support. i couldn't tell much of a diff with my butt dyno, I ended up with v force.

I found that the v force reeds on my blaster didn't last very long. They would start chipping and cracking and a set of replacements were $60. I went back to stock reeds. So I opted to go stockers on my banshee because of the previous problems with v force.

Well I've got some V-3's that are starting their 5th season. Debris might have been a factor with your Blaster reeds. Get some V-4's, go up a pilot size and enjoy having that 58HP Banshee brake into the 60's.  :clap:

Not knocking VF3 cause I liked them a lot but I also went through a set of petals in a season...I have factory airbox with lid and foam filter...never understood it...
