Banshee SE Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Anybody with the same problem? Am i doing something wrong? Did I get the correct perch? Quote
Sandking Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Perch is probably ok but the adjustment bolt isn't call them its banshee specific. Took three tries before they got it right Quote
sheerider11 Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Just get a tether. It cleans up the bars, and is a lot safer. As long as you use it Quote
Banshee SE Posted December 13, 2013 Author Report Posted December 13, 2013 get rid of the black big switch install a dirt bike kill.. or put it on the other side of the clutch perch that's exactly what I did but don't like it!! Quote
Banshee SE Posted December 13, 2013 Author Report Posted December 13, 2013 Just get a tether. It cleans up the bars, and is a lot safer. As long as you use it I would like to keep the OEM style and I also use it. Quote

Nieskes Posted December 13, 2013 Report Posted December 13, 2013 Can't you move that huge hunk of plastic on the other side of the leverThats what i have done in the past. Quote

jbooker82 Posted December 14, 2013 Report Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) I use 2 toggle switchs for the headlights mounted to a piece of aluminum under the seat. It bolts down on top of the fuel tank mounting bolts. I did get ones with a rubber cover to keep water out. Then just use a CR honda style kill switch on the handle bars. It will plug right in to the factory wireing harness. Edited December 14, 2013 by jbooker82 Quote
MarineNYC Posted December 15, 2013 Report Posted December 15, 2013 He'll put it on the other side of the perch to cover that horrible scratch you put on those nice black bars Quote
Banshee SE Posted December 16, 2013 Author Report Posted December 16, 2013 I guess this is fixed, found this little bolt in my box of Honda stuff and fit pretty good. I can't find a shorter hex bolt in my local stores and I think this big chrome nut does not look so pretty. Quote
jbooker82 Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 I would go get a couple stainless button head allen screws. Then cut it down a little at a time until you get the clutch lever reach you want with the bolt threaded al the way in. Quote

I have the one that came with it maybe I'll try this later, don't have a good tool to cut it. Quote
Starwriter Posted December 17, 2013 Report Posted December 17, 2013 Why can't you put a set screw in it with a dab of locktite? Quote
