A-arms, tie-rod, rear skid, front bumper and swinger for 90 bucks! Gloss black and about 10 mill thick on the arms and skid!

My ole lady told me thicker was better.... but for real.. iono.. i asked him to spray it good and thick and i was thinking like 6 mil or so.. Maybe it will hold up better that thick?

Fresh powder always looks great. That thick of powder is gonna come with a few frustrations like shock eyes too tight, threads needed re tapped, carrier not wanting to fit and a few other but I'm sure you will figure it out.

Possibly.. I figured I got a good deal. I do know he put plugs in the threaded holes and I assume the other holes on there. Yall are buzz kills lol

Yea everything was sandblasted to bare metal. The A-arms were factory silver hammertone, the swinger was just a normal swinger, the pipes were chrome, and the bumper was like billet or something. He did a great job and was a really nice dude. He sent me pics and kept me updated. I guess he might have over done it some but thats my fault cause I asked him the make it thick. Im in the process of putting the bike together coming off of a complete tear down and restore. New ss bolts, new bearings, new lines etc.. Ill let yall know if i run into problems.

oooo lmao.. well then i was totally wrong with saying 10mm or whatever.. my bad guys.. now that I think of it.. having 10mm of powdercoat sounds stupid anyway

Posted

good powder coat is usually thicker than production powder coat.

Ive noticed when I have things powder coated they get better attention then when a manufacture sends over a bulk order for production.. they obviously get better pricing bet less powder

Get out your file cause everything is gonna be tight...from the front a arm brackets all the way back to the rear shock mount

Everything has been tight for sure man! Only stuff that was real tough was the swing arm/rear shock and linkage. It looks great tho.
