Ive read about it on here. The "how-to" write up doesnt sound toooo difficult, but I dont have my dremel with me since I moved, and I dont feel like driving hours and hours to get it. So who wants to do this for me? How much are ya gonna charge?

Shipping both ways will cost you more than buying a rebuild kit off the Internet. I think they average 9.00 new and that's shipped.

I did the mod with a drill and a cobalt bit. I used the stock spring, bigger ball, bolt, and the cone shaped spring on top. Filled it full of grease and so far haven't had any problems. If you don't have a drill just get the cobalt bit and put it in a pair of vice grips and twist away!

heck  rember  your OEM kicker is at this point no matter what at least 6+ years old

Just get a zip tie and tighten it just enough so you can slip it on and off of your vent tubes, been doing this for months, works just fine

or he could not rig the motherfucker and spend 10min and take it apart to put a new oring and grease in it. majority of the time thats all it needs.
