4psnu Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 Is this just another "boost bottle" gimmick?? Quote
BlksnshN Posted June 19, 2013 Author Report Posted June 19, 2013 ive got them on my bike. worth every dollar. Did you pay $195 a piece for them? Is it scary fast? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 Jeff's manifold actually has a similar concept built right in to them. Quote
Man-O-Steele Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 if you run it on just 1 side with a boost bottle its like running 1 on both sides. same effect. Quote
MarineNYC Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 When I first got into riding I had those both on my CR 250 and my banshee. Did they Do anything. I have no fucking idea. Quote
jbooker82 Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 The idea behind them is that they keep the air speed up going through the carb at part throttle by keeping the air flowing straight. I would consider it a mod that improves throttle response, not hp. http://farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=157Weird that Jeff sells them and no one says anything bad about them? I wish I could get a set for my PWK33's Quote
jbooker82 Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 RB Designs installs a single plate on the back side of carbs. I have though about sending my PWK33's to them. They also sell a finger adjustable air screw for easier adjustments, but only if your having them do the carb work. They wont sell it seperatly. http://www.rb-designs.com/ Quote
jayhawkatv Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 my buddy bought one for his 450 and thought it would make so much difference. Fuck no. He paid $50 bucks. Idiot. Actually lost topend Quote
