mrmatt Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Blue, I hope it gets stopped before it gets to your house and you don't lose anything. They've been talking on the news about sending firemen from Indiana out there to help out. I agree with all of the good things said about firemen. One of my friends if a firemen and trained EMT. I can't believe all of the crap and training that they have to go through just to get hired on. Then they don't get paid diddly squat. At least now they are getting the appreciation that they deserve. Quote
azsandrat Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Duece, I hope every is safe. Man thats got to be scary. I bet you keep a close eye on wind direction right now. Best of luck getting through this one. Quote
Justintoxicated Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 it really sucked how little support there was on sunday. One hellicopter on sunday morning as we watched some houses burn down, It was not suprising the fire grew so fast. The area I live was almost compleatly surrounded by flame by monday, both freeways on both sides of us were closed. the fire was probably the biggest disaster I have lived through in San Diego so far, much worse than any others. As much as i would like to complain it has to be even worse for those who lost family and friends and also those who have been left temporarily homeless. Guess having the fire department next to my parents house really did pay off this time though. Im just glad it's all over now, at least for most of us in san diego...It almost seemed unreal and we are still shaken up by it. Quote
Blue Duece Posted October 31, 2003 Author Report Posted October 31, 2003 Thanks for the wishes Matt and Gary, the fire department burnt back half of the valley that the fire didnt hit so if the winds do shift i think we are ok, the wind has taken the fire back up into arrowhead, i think around 60,000 people have had to leave this area, i feel for all the diego residence as well and the now santa clarita residence's and simi valley people, i had forestry from california, arizona and nevada all at the house, the cajon pass is now open so ive been able to go home, the mountains are blackened for as far as the eye can see, when this is over ill take the digi camera out on my shee and get some pics and post them, ThankYou all again, from myself and family for all your concern and well wishes........ pimp559 Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Well the wife called, fire marshall is in the drivway wants her and the kids to leave, im stuck in LA...1 of my bikes is at the shop, engine is out to jim at passion racing, 4 others in the garage, 2 CR's a XR and my Desert Banshee, looks like they caught some f*ck who was going to start a fire in wrightwood, hopefully they pin this fire on him and the prick gets a death sentence, so far in cali over 600.000 acres are burned and several dead, 1000 or more homes lost, the fuckin state is up in smoke, my place has a tile roof maybe that will help, but you look out the front window and you cant see the driveway through all the smoke, i just cleared my lot last week and the 10 acre empty lot next door, but you look 100 yards east to the end of my street where it turns into national forest and all you see is flames, forestry guys sprayed my home with that red shizzel though, and are useing my house as a base so hopefully i wont lose it all............ 118768 Ahh, too bad maybe someone shouldn't be smoking and throwing thier butts on the ground. I'll find a pic if its on here. PUSSY Quote
RNBRAD Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Duece, sorry to hear about your luck, though sounds like you've been pretty fortunate so far. Remember, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger and better prepared next time. Maybe this is a wake-up call to take a closer look at those policies to better cover you in the future. Keep us informed and we'll keep you in our prayers. Quote

PUSSY 367160 You really need some psychological help man, talking shit and making cracks like that especially when people's lives were in danger is a real pathetic thing to do. It's funny you keep calling Deuce a pussy, when you seem to be the only pussy posting right now. Quote
