HomesteadBanshee Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 Im looking to buy a banshee and ride trails but what you think the guy says it's bored to a 383 stock crank, with CPI pipes, my first does question is does a 383 cc cylinder sound right? And also I had t5 pipes on my old shee and there warent that bad in the trails so my next question is how are the CPI pipes in the trails compared to the t5's???any difference??? Quote
LawDog Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 I run t-5's and trail ride and I love them. My buddy has CPI BB but he runs a 4mil and is planning to go 7-10mil. I would go with the CPI's but that's just my opinion. But everyone has their own poison. Here is a link for a bore and stroke chart. http://bansheehq.com/images/yamaha-banshee-bore-stroke-chart.png Quote
04_blu_shee Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 The T5's will have more bottom end. The CPI's are more a mid and topend pipe. Quote
jayhawkatv Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 t-5 if you aren't going to do any major upgrades. Quote

HomesteadBanshee Posted March 24, 2013 Author Report Posted March 24, 2013 Yeah I think at most if I get it u might get a aggressive trail port job ,will a aggressive trail port job give them CPI's a lil more bottom end??? 1 Quote
trickedcarbine Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 CPI's will have decent bottom for sure. On the more mid, aggressive trail, dune type motors they are great. Especially with a bit of timing and compression. Quote
