What gearing should I be with 421 cub, 39 Pwk carbs and inframe Shearers I'm at a 14-42 now. Found a deal on this setup need help Quote
Oregon dunner Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 I don't have strait cuts on my ported 421 cub but i I have 13/44 and spin 22.11.8 10 paddle haulers. It's low geared for sure but I like the wheel spin when I get in to a steep tree shot with soft sand. Quote

trickedcarbine Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Ok, probably not a matched set then. Because that puts you at about 3.27-28 range and there is no way they would mesh. To be honest I've never heard of that ratio for these bikes, RZ's, or RD's. Quote
