Make sure choke tube is connected to both carbs with no spit ends,clean carbs. check plugs and check caps and plugs for fire. No power? this could be a lot of things. lowhondas Posted March 7, 2013 Author Report Posted March 7, 2013 I had it runnin just fine i got hurt couldnt work on it cus it wouldnt downshift so i let a friend fix that i get it back it wont run like it did useto start first kick before it was also summer then now its like 30 out an i switched from fmf to toomey an i put a new stator on it also last week An also put new plugs in it didnt help Quote
lowhondas Posted March 7, 2013 Author Report Posted March 7, 2013 I cleaned carbs an put needle on 4th clip an its idlin a lil bit still takes a a few kicks to start an i adjust the throttle cables on top carb to bring idle up alil cus idle screws dont work anymore i have a 27,5 pilot ordered just waitin on that anythin else u think of that could b wrong Quote
sleeper06 Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Tors kit wasn't installed correctly,need to cut the carb body down a ill,make sure carb bowls are on the rite sides,check your pick up gap between the pickup coil an flywheel should be .018-.020 Quote

sleeper06 Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 The carb body where the idle screw goes is slanted I usually trim them up square so the jam nut sits nice and using a paper product to set gap is good for a mini bike with a Briggs an Stratton not a banshee use a feeler gauge.have fun CCP Quote
lowhondas Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 Well figured out the powerband deal the stator i put on there somthing isnt right with it its an oem adjustable timing deal i put my old one back on it ran good just gotta figure out the jetting now an thanks for the help guys an ill have to sand that shit down so itll go in all the way but thanks again an what needle position would b the best u think Quote
