Right now my quad runs perfect, great looking plugs, after how many degrees of dropping temperature change should I raise the jets? Right now it's averaging anywhere between 90-97 degrees..

One thing ive always done is if you're bike is jetted to run with no lid in the summer time then when winter comes around put your lid back on, i usually have 2 lids one untouched lid and one lid with a few holes in it. That way it will kinda even out your jetting and you dont have to rejet, depending where you ride its better like that anyways to protect from water with all the snow and slush, just an idea.

Thanks. That's a good idea. Right now it's jetted for stock lid with the snorkel. When I get back from this ride this weekend I'm going to clean the carbs and get a few jets.

So middle of summer run no lid, fall lid with holes and winter solid lid? With or without snorkels? And many and what size holes for the fall one?

If you have holes drilled in the lid, you can cover them with duct tape, when it gets colder. It's just another easy way to cut back on the air, as it gets colder, without having to have two lids.

Why isn't anyone talking about just adjusting the air screws? Do we need a post to explain what they do?
