fastbshee Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 I have a stock banshee with cool head,vforce3 reeds, and toomey t5 pipes, with stock carbs, with a 290 main jet, and stock pilot jet and my bike is running kind of lean and I wanted to know if anyone have any suggestions on jetting .thanks Quote
Infamous039 Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 If its running lean I would raise the mains up to 300-310. Also check for air leaks as well before you start chasing jetting. Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 did u do a plug chop to verify that the bike is running lean? 290 should be just fine with airbox lid off and after market air filter. it sounds like you have a leak if the plug chop says its lean. 310's are usually used when u have pods and the engine is not ported depending on elevation.
