So Cal Suspension Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Im looking to get some bigger paddles but don't know which are better extremes, or haulers? It kinda depends on what kind of riding you do. If it's a drag bike, go with extremes. If it's a dune bike, stick with haulers. From what I can remember (I've only owned Haulers), Extremes are a buffed tire, and would be more susceptible to punctures on a dune bike. Quote
06specialedition Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 I've always ran haulers and been very happy with them Quote

Extremes and haulers are the exact same tire other than the thicker paddle on the extreme. Both can be buffed or not buffed. They have a 7/8" tall paddle. If you are hill shooting then you may want a hauler as the thinner paddle will mph slightly higher up top. They both work well on most bikes but a higher hp bike may not like haulers due to paddle flex. Generally an extreme will hook a little harder due to the thicker paddle. 9 extreme will hook similar to a 10 hauler. Quote

Good info right there. Quote
