Sounds to me more like an ignition issue, I had a similar problem when I shortened the wiring harness using a Dyna, the park brake wire wasn't grounded, it fired every time it was kicked, but wouldn't stay running. Don't know if this has anything to do with the issue you're having, just sounded like the problem I had.

well it ran fine a week ago on gas the only thing i did was diff carbs and domes

What are the specs on your carbs? Are they sync'd? Should be no problem in a heated garage. I assume its at least 60 degrees in there??

got it running and it runs great it just needed a shot of ether like cam said

If you don't like the harsh-ness of the ether, try and put a little bit of gas in a spray bottle. Spray your filters a little bit with some gas, them hold your throttle wide open and kick it over. That's how I've always started my methanol bikes. When you hold it wide open it pulls the gas vapors in and pops over nice & easy.

If you had purged it, it would fire right up.
