Hello I have a low hour Banshee in great condition. I recently put on Pro Circuit pipes and silencers and a pro flow k&n air filter. My elevation is about 600 feet, in Chicago surburbs. I'm running a 25 pilot jet and a 280 main jet. The problem is when I get on it real hard it hestitates as soon as I hit the next gear??? It makes like a popping sound, then as I proceed to accerlate it clears out perfectly. Pulls hard on top end with no break up at all. Just when I change gears it stumbles right away?? I was wondering if you guys think the pilot jet is to small? Any suggestions or replies are appericated.

Thanks!

I would go with a 27.5 pilot. I dont know if that is problem for sure but it should make your banshee idle better and smooth out the throttle a little. Probably a little lean anyways with the new add on's

Bike is all stock expect for the Pro Circuit pipes and K&N pro flow filter, stock air box no lid. I had 300's and 290's in it before and it still hesitated between shifts. 280 seems to be great for the main. I'm guessing its the pilot.

All piped banshees need a 27.5 pilot. Where is your needle at? Try dropping the needle clip 1 spot lower, which should be raising your needle, it'll richen it up some.

You need to go with 27.5 for the pipes. Then play with the needle & check the plugs for the mains.

My old set up was FMF pipes K&N stock air box no lid +4 timing. I was 27.5 & 330 mains clip in the middle for at sea level. It was spot on.
