Has anyone compared the LRD adjustable exhaust system to In Frame CPI's or Shearers? I've got the LRD stuff on my +4MM Banshee & would like to know how they compare. Don't care to hear peoples opinion on what exhaust they recommend if they do not have any facts to back up their reasoning.

lrd's are ok they are peaky in the HP that they make but overall they ride out ok they are a very thick material adn resist denting excellent. the silencers are big and they are not extremely loud.

compared to cpi or shear bot of those pipes are a "drag" pipe mid and top end adn escpecially shear's overrev is going to put the lrd's to shame. i did recently redo a banshee motor and it had cpi's on it stock i thought it ran really well for not being ported or anything. just good luck getting to the plugs and burning your legs more..

i have a set of LRD's that were custom made for an lsr chassis and for a 421cc motor on a 4 mill they ran suprisingly well had nice top end compared to t-5's ( also tested the same day) and had very linear tq curve other lrd's i've had in the past didnt feel the same.

Anyone else have any input?

Well I think camatv nailed it on the head but I have a 4 mil with shearer oofs on it right now. but before I had cpi inframes and the shearers make like 4 horse more on the dyno, but the power cones later. I have also ridden my friends ported banshee with lrds and I really liked that it had some mid range to it, but the shearers and cpi's scream on the top end and kick ass!

in the same day we tried t-5's, lrd's, cpi's, and shears on the same bike and actually rode it around..

i ahve a lot of diff pipes laying around here and those were just how they felt to me .. same motor, day, ride..

in my honest opinion on a 421 or 400cc 4 mill stock cylinder motor. the trinity pipes work the best all around. the shear, cpi's will have more top end but in trail and dunning can be a lil tricky..

on MY particular engine with the work thats done to it the motor made 55ft lbs of tq and 80+hp on race fuel. its on alky now and the entire powerband is stronger. sure if it was a "drag" motor i would deff get a set of cpi's or shears or snipers for it ..
