i currently have the pt mids.. if i wanted to run the r2s what kind of jetting would i need? and on a 65.5mm bore with no porting, would they get there full potential? or would i need some porting work?

You will notice a huge diffrence up top over those pipes you have,300 mains no port but if you port it you wont be sorry

If your even thinking about porting go for it, Jeff @ F.A.S.T will get you awsome power! and the R2s are unbeleivable, I have both and wouldn't change either one.

 

Jeff would be the one to get you jetted correctly, he helped me alot.

Jeff happens to be a good friend of mine and i cant say enouph about him,he has helped me out in many ways.He is one of the only builders that trust with my stuff if im too busy to do it

im debating on getting some porting. i like my pt mids, but i want a pipe that keeps pulling. and i want more top end lol. would i still be able to do midrange stuff like trails? i think it all depends on how good you ride or whatever lol

yes they have a strong mid range, and decent bottom, and killer top end

yeah ive heard they come close to those... at leaste i think that is what i heard lol. i would love to get some, but i really dont know how to do jetting very well, i could, but it would take wayyy to long.ill prolly get a local shop to do it haha. or send em off to herr jugs or F.A.S.T. lol

You would need to send the entire machine to Kevin or Jeff. Jetting is almost mindless once you know two stroke language. The motor will tell you what it wants if you listen.
