sand-paddles Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 I just bough some nev v force 3 reeds I was wondering if you can run reed spacers with the reeds or just put the new cages in and run them Quote
J-Madd Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 The concensus is that there is no need for spacers unless needed for the carb to clear the clutch actuator. There is some argument that they can move peak hp to different rpm range depending on whether you put them in front of the cage, or behind it. I don't buy it, but haven't tested on a dyno. Quote

IMO I don't think it adds HP at all...Its just another place for a possible air leak. They are really only needed to clear the clutch actuator like J-Madd said IMO. Quote
