Engine rebuilding

I am having a problem trying to get my engine parts back from ( Short Blocks R US ). I sent my crankshaft, and both of my jugs to them in May 2010 with a money order to get them to bore out my jugs,rebuild my crankshaft, and a new engine gasket set. They have stopped answering my calls and won't send me any E-mails. I did not reliese it would be shouch a hassel just to get my engine parts back and a refund if there not going to do the work on my stuff. Next time I will find someone local to do my work. I just hope no one else will be planning on using them. If anyone has a suggestion it will be apperated. I live in Alabama and its had to find someone that will rebuild just a banshee crankshaft here.

This is one of the reasons we use site sponsors here......we know that the site sponsors here aren't goign to fuck us over. Did you send them enough in the money order to complete all the work? Did they give you a estimated time of repair? If they did and you sent them the full amount then id call them and leave a message AND email them and tell them that you are going to give them 1 week of time to hear back from them before you start taking legal actions. It IS theft even if you pay them to preform a service and they DO NOT do the work or will not return your parts. Also you could call your local news stations and see fi they can help you.....you wouldn't believe the kind of work companies will suddenly do when they have a news reporter calling them asking why you will not do mr. smiths work and if they would be up for a on camera interview....

If it's not too far to drive, you could try showing up with all your documentation in hand and paying them a visit. Get the local police involved on the basis that they DID steal your property. If it's too far, you could try calling them and pretending that you're a news person as suggested above (try the real thing first both local to you and local to the scum bags) but your an office person setting up itinerary for so-and-so (use a real reporter or news segment name). Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a member on here who was saying how these guys are scammers? I thought I read something about them.... I'll try and find the post
